# Start here: rules for an unattended run

I'm away. Work through these instruction files **in order**, without waiting for me:

1. `01-<task>.md`
2. `02-<task>.md`

Start a task only when the previous one meets its **"Done when"** list. If one can't be finished,
leave it in a working state, write down what's left, then decide whether the next can start safely.

## Rules

- **Don't ask me questions.** When something is ambiguous, pick the most reasonable option, write the
decision and why in `PROGRESS.md`, and continue.
- **Log as you go.** `PROGRESS.md`: "Resume here" at the top (always current), then per task what was
done, decisions, test results, screenshots, what's left. Not only at the end.
- **Commit small working steps** with clear messages. **Never push**, publish, deploy or upload anything.
- **Check before you build:** earlier work may exist. Read the code, note what you find, don't break it.
- **After each task:** run the tests and the build, run one real job end to end, take screenshots.
- **Protect my data:** never modify, move or delete my files (`<folders>`), and never delete anything
  you didn't create.
- **If something needs me** (an admin prompt, a login, a payment, a decision only I can make): don't
wait. Write exactly what I need to do under **"Needs <you>"** in `PROGRESS.md`, skip it, continue.
- **Finish fewer things properly** rather than start everything and leave it broken. Before you stop,
the app must start and work.
